Hello, and happy Monday!  Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

I'm so excited about this outfit post because once again I left the safety of my garden and headed into the city centre with Jennifer, from Glasgowfashiongirl, where we were each others photographers for the day.

Considering the pictures were taken at 9.30am, on a cold and windy Sunday morning at Glasgow's Clyde side, I'm really happy with how they turned out! Jennifer, I'd happily let you be my photographer again! Sorry, Barry, you have some competition!

Today's outfit (and Jennifer's too!) is all about this lovely little slip dress from Love Too True.  Love Too True is run by two sisters, Gemma and Laura, and all their items are hand made by them.  I fell in love with them when I stumbled across their pink tartan two piece,  which I featured in an outfit post you can find here, and from then on I knew I had to own one of their slip dresses too.  I missed out on a yellow tartan dress they made last year and regretted not buying it, but then I seen this lovely yellow checked number and all was well in the world again!

The slip dress is surprisingly easy to style and looks great layered over anything from a tshirt to a polo neck. A polo neck would certainly have been cosier than the grey tshirt I went with.  They also come in a variety of colours so there really is something for everyone!

Anyone who knows me, will know I have a slight obsession with necklaces (like handbags, you can never have too many) so I layered up three of my favourites for this outfit. I went with grey tights to tie in with my tshirt and wore my navy docs to try and toughen up my image.........thankfully my newly shaved head has now grown a five o'clock shadow and I don't look quite as menacing as I did last week.......Finally, I added my pink satchel for some girly cuteness!

Now, remember I mentioned the yellow tartan dress I missed out on last year? Well, you can see how the lovely Jennifer styled hers by clicking here! Admittedly, I hate her a little bit for owning the dress but she certainly does it justice!

Thank you to anyone for reading and hope you have a lovely week ahead!

    1. Awe thanks Soohie, I really want their black and white slip dress, I need some more black in my life and wardrobe! The pics were taken in Glasgow City centre near the Clyde. The Glasgow version of being down by the Thames but not as cool! Haha! It def makes a difference having a fellow blogger taking your pics than a boyfriend! Xx
